Bristol City striker Brett Pitman makes Posh start

Brett Pitman received a recall for Bristol City against Peterborough United in today's npower Championship relegation tussle at London Road.

Making only his sixth start of the season, the striker was deployed alongside Albert Adomah as Robins boss Derek McInnes switched to a more attack-minded 4-4-2 formation.

There were also recalls for Neil Kilkenny and Kalifa Cisse, both now fully recovered from injury.

Peterborough (4-4-2): Jones; Alcock, Zakuani, Bennett, Briggs; Frecklington, McCann, Boyd, Tonlin; Taylor, Ball. Subs: Lewis (gk), Little, Sinclair, Tunnicliffe, Kearns.

City (4-4-2): James; Foster, Fontaine, McManus, McGivern; Cisse, Elliott, Kilkenny, Pearson; Adomah, Pitman. Subs: Stead, Bolasie, Wood, Wilson, Gerken (gk).
