Bristol City star Haynes hoping for a little bit of luck on return to Portman Road
Bristol City star Danny Haynes insists he will be owed more than a little luck when he returns to play against his former club Ipswich Town tomorrow.
The forward will be going back to Portman Road for the first time since his summer switch to Ashton Gate.

Haynes struck the goal frame twice when the teams drew 0-0 in Bristol last December.
Haynes said: "I hit the post twice and was a bit unfortunate, but hopefully my luck should be in and I will get another goal. To score would be a dream."
But would the London-born forward celebrate if he was to get his fifth City goal in Suffolk?
"Everyone asks me that question and I can't give you an answer," he admitted. "I don't know if I should celebrate or not out of respect.
"Then again, I am in a Bristol City shirt and when I am in a Bristol City shirt I have celebrated so why should I change? It will be down to how I feel at the time."
Haynes bears no ill-feeling towards Ipswich or Roy Keane, but feels he still has a point to prove.
"Going back is special," he said. "I have come through there and it will be nice to go back and see a few old faces.
"My reception should be good because I never really showed any hard feeling when I left. I didn't hold any grudges towards anyone. I left because I thought it was time and they respected my decision.
"There is no hard feelings there.
"There is always a point to prove, but you have to stay focussed. It is my old club but then again it is another game for me."
Playing as a winger, Haynes was City's man-of-the-match in Sunday's televised victory over West Bromwich Albion.
He terrorised England Under-21 left-back Joe Mattock all afternoon with a display of pace and skill, and feels that game could prove crucial for himself, and the team.
"It was a changing point," he said.
"We hadn't won in seven so we needed that win, and on my behalf I found my game and did what the manager asked me to do and hopefully I can do it again.
"This league is up and down. Everyone has their highs and their lows and we have just got to make sure we are on our game at all times.
"Both teams are in form so we have to go there with the mentality of proving a point and winning.
"I am not really concentrating on Ipswich.
"It is all about us and how we take the game.
"We have to look at ourselves and say 'We can beat West Brom, come on this is the start of a new beginning'.
"There was a buzz around the changing room. Everyone is encouraging each other and morale is high."
City will again be without defender Jamie McAllister (calf) and midfielder Evander Sno (back). The latter may temporarily return to his parent club Ajax for treatment.
Patrick Agyemang (illness and a niggle) and Jamal Campbell-Ryce (calf) could be back in the squad, but manager Gary Johnson is unlikely to change his starting team unless he is forced to by illness or injury.

“Let's hope with Cole and Bridge out they don't call up young Mattock or we really are doomed!!”

“I doubt Haynes will celebrate if he gets his fifth City goal, seeing as he did so over a month ago against Preston.
Quality research as ever.”
