“here's a little cautionary tale for you..

1999/2000 - Gas were flying. 44 goals from Roberts and Cureton. Top or 2nd for a lot of the season. but 6 points in the last 10 games saw us not even manage to get in the play-offs.

Ronnie mauge had gone to play for Trinidad & Tobago in mid feb. broke his leg. treated awfully by his small national FA. I truly believe that was the turning point in our season.”

“There are positives, if he has a good tournament, his value will increase and realistically, we know he is likely to leave, in this window.”

    “Good luck Albert.

Hopefully a good run will up your game so that if and when you return you'll be able to score those all important goals we need and make telling passes too!”

“No boost for City and we should consider this seriously when we sign African players.

It's difficult but there are way to many International tournaments & friendlies these days and if AA comes back worn out/injured we'll suffer, not Ghana and we pay his wages which he'll no doubt want improved soon enough if he's to stay.”
