Bristol City defender James Wilson has earned a call-up to the Wales Under-21 squad to take on Northern Ireland next week.

The 19-year-old, who has captained the Welsh U19s, could make his debut for the U21s at the Ballymena showgrounds on Tuesday February 10 in the friendly international.

Wilson has made just one first-team appearance for Bristol City and has just recovered from a knee injury.

The youngster has enjoyed speculation linking him with various Premier League clubs and a glowing report from his manager Gary Johnson who joked he would only sell him for £100million.
