Exeter City Reserves 1 Bristol City Reserves 9: A strong Bristol City Reserves side claimed a 9-1 win over Exeter City at St James Park in the totesport.com Combination last night.

First-team squad members Danny Haynes, David Clarkson, Alvaro Saborio and Ivan Sproule all netted twice, while defender Danny Ball was also on the scoresheet as City took a 4-1 lead into half-time and added five goals after the break.

Goalkeeper Steve Collis, making his first appearance in a City shirt, was beaten on 35 minutes by a Richard Logan volley.
