Bristol City fans to honour Louis Carey at gala testimonial dinner
Bristol City fans have jumped at the chance to honour long-serving defender Louis Carey later this month.
Now in his 20th season at Ashton Gate, the 36-year-old Bristolian will be the guest of honour at a testimonial gala dinner to celebrate his distinguished career.

Bristol City captain and defender Louis Carey will be at The Marriott later this month.
And the Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel will be packed to the rafters as City supporters pay tribute to one of the club’s most popular players.
Event organiser Chris Bradfield says there are a handful of tickets still unsold for the event, which takes place on Saturday, March 23 (7.30pm).

Money raised from ticket sales will be donated to local charities, the Children’s Hospice South West and the Starfish appeal to raise funds to build a hydrotherapy pool at Claremont School.
Diners will enjoy a sumptuous three-course dinner and have the opportunity to rub shoulders with many Bristol City stars both past and present.
