Bristol City fan's view: Move Adebola on and unleash Murray
Well it just wouldn't have seemed right had we not drawn our final home game of the season against Sheffield Wednesday writes City fan Matt Withers.
The 1-1 result was our thirteenth draw at home and it is for this very reason we are not looking forward to a place in the play offs or better.

Bristol City fan's view
How many Bristol City fans were really surprised to see Darren Potters' 88th-minute strike hit the back of the net? In and around where I sit in the Atyeo, we actually said Sheffield Wednesday wouldn't score until the 88th minute, just to sum the season up – what odds could we have got on that?
End of season games are always difficult and while there is professional pride to play for, and for some new contracts, you can't help but wonder how many players' minds are on their summer holiday and some far away beach. Certainly, at one point in the first half Adriano Basso's mind was elsewhere when Cole Skuse played a ball back to him. Thankfully the Atyeo stand's wake up call did the trick.
Before the game our chairman Steve Lansdown took the opportunity to thank the fans for their support during the season. Mr Lansdown is an astute businessman but outwardly perhaps lacks the charisma of a Scott Davidson or Simon Jordan but I know who I would rather have in charge of our club. I was very impressed with the timing of his speech and his words.
Lansdown has taken this club a long way forward in his tenure as chairman and with a new stadium on the horizon, he will not be settling for a top ten finish next season. Of course there was also the message to fans to buy your season tickets and new replica kits but still it was a nice touch.
The game was meaningless to both clubs, as neither club needed the points for promotion or relegation. It was fairly entertaining and both sides played some decent football. City's goal was cleverly worked and shows what we are capable of when we play at pace and with the ball on the ground.
It seems likely big forward Dele Adebola will be off in the summer, as the club will only offer a one year contract while Dele wants (and can reportedly get elsewhere) a two year deal.
Dele has surprised me since signing and has been a decent signing and I will be sorry to see him go, however, it perhaps means we will change our style of play. Too often our full backs cross balls from 60 yards out looking for Dele. We have the players to keep the ball on the deck and use our clever, one touch, interplay to open sides up.
One person who will have enjoyed yesterday is Scott Murray. Super Scotty Murray made his 426th appearance for Bristol City and showed glimpses of what he has displayed in his years at the club.
Scott's character is infectious and he clearly loves the club. It was a nice touch from Gary Johnson to bring Scotty on with 25 minutes left to play and shows that there is room for sentiment in football.
I'm sure Scott believes he has a couple of years left in him in professional football but I hope that he remains connected to the club and is used in a coaching capacity.
I certainly don't expect Scott to sign for Bristol Rovers as others have done. I'm not sure Scott will continue playing and there are rumours that Hollywood are looking at Scott to play the part of Sideshow Bob in the new real life version of The Simpsons!!

“So just how many goals have we conceded in the last 5 minutes this season?”
