Bristol City drop ticket prices for Barnsley showdown
Bristol City have launched another ticket offer in a bid to pack Ashton Gate for the final home game of the season, against Barnsley tomorrow week.
Following the success of the incentive offered for the Easter Monday clash with Coventry City – which attracted a capacity crowd of 19,003 – City have again dropped prices for another crucial game in their battle to beat the drop.
-

Prices for the fixture have been cut to £10 for adults and £5 for concessions (under-21s/seniors/under-16s), subject to availability. The offer is applicable in all stands.
In addition, all season ticket holders who have renewed/purchased their seat for 2012-13, or who do so by 5pm on Friday, April 20, will be able to bring a friend to the game for free.

“Well once you have been relegated and want to pick yourselves up, you can drive to Portishead and use the skatepark at the lakegrounds built by the PSP to cheer yourselves up.
Oh wait a minute, there isn't one as the council have gone against the wishes of everyone living there.”

Woolford had a good game and almost won it for us.It's about time he perked up but I hope it continues.”

“I've just seen that Woolford is starting and no defenders on the bench. McInnes must see something in Woolford that I don't. He seems like Lee Johnson, frightened to tackle but he cannot even pass the ball.”

“@RFM1 I agree, the boardroom often take the fans for granted, its hard times out there for us fans. They could easily subsidise travel arrangements with a rock bottom ticket combined with coach fare. I'm involved with grassroots football and got to admit the blue side of the city do seem to do more. The recent Cov match i was contacted early on offering quid a kid before it was made public, the salesperson was a bit gobsmacked when i explained that weeks earlier Rovers had given us 50 free tickets for kids and coach travel to and from the ground. I'm not saying this hasn't been offered to others by City but they need to look after the youngsters no matter who you support as they're the life blood of our clubs in the future”

“Why not offer travel concessions for City fans travelling to Burnley - a game which is likely to be crucial for our survival in the Championship? The team will need all the support it can get!”

“I think the board has realised that having a full house can give you that 12th man, cos lets face it your not out the woods yet, it looks better after the cov game but you can't rely on others giving the results and the vocal support of 18k supporters willing you on, will lift the team. They've come to their senses that they need the fans on their side more than ever now, instead of jeering every failed pass, missed tackle.”
