Bristol City close to signing Kelly and in talks over McFadzean deal
Bristol City are this evening closing in on deals to bring two new players to Ashton Gate.
The Post can reveal that Kilmarnock's Scotland international midfielder Liam Kelly is already in Bristol for talks with Robins boss Derek McInnes.
And the Championship club are negotiating with League One Crawley Town after submitting an undisclosed six-figure bid for central defender Kyle McFadzean.
But there is no rush to sign McFadzean, who is still recovering from injury, and Kelly is expected to be City's first recruit of this January transfer window.

Kilmarnock and City have agreed a fee in the region of £200,000 after add-ons and Kelly will undergo a medical examination at Ashton Gate this evening, providing he can agree terms.
If cross-border international clearance can be obtained by midday on Friday, the 22-year-old would be available to make his debut in Saturday's home Championship showdown with Leicester City at Ashton Gate.
McInnes confirmed his interest in centre-back McFadzean earlier today, but declined to go into details.
The Post can reveal talks are on-going and sources in Sussex claim the clubs are close to reaching agreement on a fee for a player who has two-and-a-half-years to run on his contract at Crawley.
