Bristol City boss Sean O'Driscoll backs bid to pack Ashton Gate for crucial Owls clash
Head coach Sean O’Driscoll has welcomed Bristol City’s decision to slash ticket prices for next month’s npower Championship clash with Sheffield Wednesday.
City take on the Owls on Easter Bank Holiday Monday in a fixture that could have a profound influence on the relegation battle.
And Robins directors have decided to reduce the price of an adult ticket to just £10 in a bid to fill Ashton Gate.
City have beaten Ipswich, Watford, Nottingham Forest and Barnsley at the Gate since O’Driscoll arrived in January and the head coach admitted: “We have all felt the lift the crowd and the players have given one another over the past four home games.”

He added: “The fans will be as much a part of any success we have in the coming weeks as anyone on the field of play.
“The players and staff are delighted to have given the supporters performances to cheer and get behind at Ashton Gate so far, but the crowd and players will continue to need each other as we bid to pick up as many points as possible in front of our home fans.
“To have Ashton Gate full and in determined, supportive mood for the visit of Sheffield Wednesday can give everyone involved with the club a massive lift. Please keep supporting your local team.”
