Bristol City boss Johnson impressed by the attitude of his players
BRISTOL City boss Gary Johnson has revealed that most of his squad has already begun pre-season training.
The Robins do not officially start back at Abbots Leigh until Wednesday but that has not prevented Johnson's eager hopefuls getting back to work.

"Some lads have been in the gym two or three times a week for the last two weeks or so working hard," said Johnson.
"And then we have our London group, where some of the lads meet up with other players from other clubs and do some training up there.
"The lads have to be totally 100 per cent prepared for the season in body and mind."
The squad are no doubt anxious to avoid being enlisted into an inauspicious group.
"We have our fat club and no one wants to be in that because we always publicise it and they have to do a bit more work," said Johnson.
"We are going down a more scientific route and they know the reasons why they have to come back with a modicum of fitness."
This will be Johnson's fourth pre-season with City and one of the challenges for him is to keep the training fresh.
"We have our routines," he said. "They have to be put to the test by our tried and tested methods we use and we see what the levels of fitness are.
"We have to go down that road and the players expect us to do that but it is good to freshen things up.
"The lads have to look forward to coming in and I know I am looking forward to seeing them again and getting down to work."
Meanwhile, Yeovil Town are ready to open talks with Scott Murray.
The winger's City contract runs out at the end of the month.
Glovers manager Terry Skiverton said: "He is a local player and someone we would be interested in, but then so would every other club in the area."

“Would prefer Murray to go to Exeter, they seem to have a decent manager and I can see Yeovil in a relegation fight next season!”
