Bristol Central's popular week-long football festival at the Packers Sports Ground, Whitehall, came to an end yesterday.

About 50 children, between the ages of seven and 14, spent the week developing their skills under the guidance of qualified and experienced coaches.

It was Bristol Central's 6th annual football festival and it was held in partnership with City Academy Bristol, Bristol City Council and the Gloucestershire FA.

Prizes were provided by McDonalds Broadmead Branch and the Football Foundation.
