Bristol Academy are hoping it will be third time lucky on Sunday, as they make yet another attempt to play their Women's FA Cup fourth-round clash against Watford.

The game was called off for a second time last weekend as the weather once again wiped out much of the national and local women's programme. The winners will be at home to either Charlton or Birmingham.

Forest Green Rovers' run is over after a 7-0 mauling at FA Premier League club Leeds Carnegie, but Nottingham Forest and Lincoln have been reinstated to the competition after Liverpool and Curzon Ashton fielded ineligible players

Keynsham Town's Southern Division game against Millwall also fell victim to the elements. Barrie Newton's team will try again at home to Ipswich Town this weekend.

Team Bath shared the spoils against Weston St Johns in the SW Combination. Toni Hemmings netted both Team Bath goals but Laura Bray's double secured a point.

Oldland Abbotonians extended their unbeaten record in Division One (North) of the SW Women's League with a convincing 6-0 win over Keynsham's Development side. Gemma Summers scored four, with Jess Cole and Jess Britton each netting twice to cap what assistant boss Steve Lavis called "our best performance of the season".

"It was a relief to get a league game in, because of the weather," said Lavis. "This was the first one in which we've kept a clean sheet."

With games in hand on the sides above them, Oldland can make a challenge if they can string wins together.

Stoke Lane Athletic's campaign in the Pat Sowden Trophy is over after an 8-0 thumping by Frome Town.

"We battled hard but our passing let us down," said Stoke boss Paul Passaway.

Downend Flyers also made an exit, beaten 6-2 at Weymouth. The Bristol club are looking for players to strengthen their squad and anyone interested should contact Sue Hiscox on 07773 672152.

Third-placed Bitton face AEK Boco this weekend – the side they have just leapfrogged into third place in Division Two of the Gloucestershire County Women's League.

Becky Hurst's brace plus goals from Ruth Coleman and Debra Small delivered a 4-1 win over Mitcheldean on a very heavy pitch.
