Brislington gained their second Toolstation League Premier Division victory of the season with a 2-1 success at Sherbourne Town.

However, they missed a number of first-half chances through Lee Jefferies and Tom Godsell and went behind after an hour.

Justin Bishop, Mark Thompson and Russ Church missed second-half chances for Brislington, while Kye Mountford had a shot cleared off the line.

Eventually though, Jefferies made up for his earlier miss by equalising with a header from a Mountford corner.

Substitute Paul Lucas and Thompson both missed further chances for Brislington before Bishop headed in a Russ Coombes cross to give them a deserved victory.

Brislington manager Jeff Meacham said it was their best performance of the season.

Larkhall Athletic took the lead at home to Longwell Green Sports in the 15th minute, when James Lye scored. The visitors equalised midway through the second half, when Mark Summers scored from the penalty spot, but Larkhall snatched victory in the final minute with a superbly-struck shot on the turn from Jamie Lyons.

Keynsham Town were easy 5-2 winners at Elmore, after going ahead through Rob Sheraton's 15th-minute penalty.

Elmore equalised through Steve Rowland, only for Luke Lipinski to restore the Keynsham lead just before the interval.

Second-half goals from Josh Dyer, Gary McDermot and Don Pearce gave Keynsham a comfortable victory margin, while Tom Edworthy netted a second for the home side.

Portishead notched their first victory of the season with a 4-1 home success over Bradford Town, who saw Matt Minnis have a first-half penalty saved by Portishead keeper Gary Tucker.

After the goalless first half, Danny Benn gave Portishead the lead, with Dave Petitt making it 2-0.

Minnis pulled a goal back for Bradford, only for Cleeve Holder to score and Benn to complete his double giving Portishead the win.

Cadbury Heath went a goal down in the first minute against Westbury, when they gave away a penalty that Mike Wheeler converted, but injury-hit Heath hit back to earn a point with a second-half header by Dwayne James.

A last-minute goal from Joe Parsons gave Hengrove Athletic a point from a 1-1 home draw against Shepton Mallet, while struggling Roman Glass St George took a point from a 1-1 draw at Shrewton United.

Almondsbury UWE played out a goalless draw at Chard Town, where both sides were guilty of missing chances.
