Bring your blanket
South Gloucestershire Council is offering free electric blanket safety tests. Any blankets that fail the safety test will be replaced with a new one, thanks to a grant the council has received to help keep older residents warm this winter.
Bring your blanket along to Yate Library on Friday, January 25, between 10.30am to 3pm to get it checked over.
