Brighton knock back Bristol City approach for Lewis Dunk
Bristol City have checked on the availability of Brighton & Hove Albion defender Lewis Dunk.
In the market for a right-sided centre-back, Robins manager Derek McInnes recently made an enquiry for the 21-year-old, whose Amex Stadium contract expires at the end of this season.
Unable to hold down a regular place in Brighton's first team this season, former England Under-21 starlet Dunk was only on the bench for today's FA Cup third round tie against Newcastle United.
But Seagulls boss Gus Poyet still rebuffed City's approach, leaving McInnes to move onto other targets.
