Brierly and Britt double up for victory
Andy Britt and Geoff Brierley scraped home by just 11oz after finishing level on nine points with Les Williams & Mike Goodhind in the Tockenham Pairs match fished at Tockenham Reservoir.
Britt fished a groundbait feeder with maggot at 40 metres off peg two and weighed in 26-5-0 of skimmers and bream. Brierley added 14-10-0 and the pair's winning catch totalled exactly 41-0-0.
Top individual was Paul Barnfield with a 43-5-0 catch consisting of bream to 3-0-0 and carp to 5-0-0.

Craig Edmonds beat Adam Caswell by just 1-1-0 in the Bristol PSV match fished on Cary Lake at Viaduct Fishery Somerton.
Edmonds caught 133-15-0 of carp with an 8mm hair-rigged pellet fished at full depth both with long pole and waggler while his team-mate poled paste at 11 metres for a similar 132-14-0.

Most competitors targeted Main Lake's huge shoals of silverfish and only one carp was caught in the Bathampton AA Disabled & Over-55s Midweek match fished at Hunstrete.
Top man was Brian Sheppard, who poled sweetcorn hard on the bottom and up to nine metres off peg 13 for 30-12-0 of mostly skimmers.
Second place went to Mike Nicholls, who used a four-metre whip with caster and maggot to coax 24-3-0 of roach from peg 15.
The best fish of the match was caught by Colin Golding. The match organiser poled soft pellet at seven metres off peg 26 for 3-12-0 of skimmers and a 10-7-0 mirror carp that broke his landing net handle.

Yarlington Match Lake came up with a decent set of weights for the Kingswood Disabled & Over-55s AC midweek match fished at Cider Farm Lakes, Lympsham.
Tom Bailey came out on top, poling soft pellet both to the far margins and straight down the middle at peg 40 for 56-5-0 of carp to almost 3-0-0.
