Bridgwater maintained their bid to reach the play-offs with two second-half goals in Division One South & West of the Southern League last night.

Chris Young snapped up the first in the 76th minute, outmuscling a defender before shooting home, while Graham Merceica scored a second two minutes later.

Bridgwater are now up to seventh and would have moved up another place if they had scored a third goal, but they were unable to do so.
