LAUNCESTON 2 BRIDGWATER TOWN 3

Bridgwater came from two goals down to collect the £1,500 on offer in this FA Cup preliminary round tie.

"We should never have got ourselves in that position," said Bridgwater's joint manager Leigh Robinson afterwards. "We had 70 per cent of the play and yet gave away two silly goals.

"We're just glad to be in the next round."

Ben Kirk, back after injury, led Bridgwater's fightback in the second half, with their other goals coming from Jamie Price and Marcus Duharty.

Bridgwater are home to Hamworthy in the next round on Saturday, September 12.
