Bridgwater Town 1 Paulton Rovers 1: Bridgwater are still clinging on to their play-off hopes in Division One South and West of the BGB Southern League despite dropping two points yesterday.

They are five points behind fifth-placed Didcot, but have a game in hand.

In the end they had to be thankful for a point against Paulton with Dan Pepperell scoring an 87th-minute equaliser after missing a penalty only 30 seconds earlier.

Rovers, seeking revenge for a 1-0 home defeat by Bridgwater earlier this season, took the lead with a 41st-minute headed goal by Ricky Hulbert.

Bridgwater continue their punishing end of season schedule with two more league matches this week – against AFC Hayes on Thursday and Gosport Borough on Saturday – before facing Atherstone Town in the Southern League Cup a week today.
