Frome Town 1 Bridgwater Town 3: The visitors returned home with all three points after outplaying Frome for most of the match.

After an even start, the visitors took the lead in the ninth minute.

A free-kick was chipped gently into the Frome area and found striker Chris Young with his back to goal and closely marked by Callum Henry, but the striker showed his experience by controlling the ball and finding a yard of space which allowed him to turn and toe-poke the ball past Tom Pass and into the net.

Young doubled the lead on 32 minutes after a looping ball was played back in from the right wing and the unmarked striker was able to pick his spot and slot the ball home easily from 12 yards.

Frome rallied and narrowed the gap in the 61st minute, when Jamie Cheeseman got up to flick a corner on and Ricky Hulbert volleyed home sweetly from 15 yards.

But the visitors made sure of the three points with an 89th-minute goal. Pass came out of his goal to punch the ball clear after a free-kick had been swung in, but it fell to Leigh Robinson, who cleverly lobbed the ball into the unguarded net from 25 yards.
