Brett Pitman bags all four goals for Bristol City reserves
Brett Pitman scored all four goals as Bristol City’s reserves thumped Exeter City’s second-string 4-0 yesterday.
The 24-year-old striker, who has made only three first-team appearances for City this season, gave the Robins the lead in the 22nd minute when he headed in from Paul Anderson’s cross.

City led 1-0 at half-time, but extended their advantage when Anderson was brought down in the penalty area and Pitman scored from the spot.
The Channel Islander grabbed his hat-trick on 69 minutes, with Anderson completing a treble of assists, before Pitman made it four when he tucked in from Jon Stead’s cross late on.

“Piledriver, Vonner, et al
Seems like we're all singing from the same hymn sheet on this one! In stead of posting the same old message on this webpage (which clearly isn't being read by the folks down in BS3!), why don't we arrange a collective bellow and shout the need for a RCB in the direction of AG. Right, all together now...."DEL, YOU'RE NOT LISTENING!" Desperate times, desperate measures!”

“@Vonner:
It's got to the point where the lack of the much vaunted RCB is becoming something of an embarrassment.
The left back injury is still an issue albeit no one can be blamed for that
Time to act Derek.”

“The guy knows how to finish if he gets the service - always has done. It is just ridiculous that we now have such great striking options and little else. Wonder how we would have fared with Caulker and Hartley together with our new strike force...”

“Let's keep things in perspective-It was Exeter Resvs.
Eddie Howe's gone back to Bmth so I wouldn't be surprised to see Brett go back there as he isn't Dels "Type".”
