Boys arrested over sex attack in Bristol park
Three young boys – aged 12 and under – have been arrested on suspicion of an alleged sexual assault that took place in a Bristol park.
The youngsters, two 12-year-olds and an 11-year-old, allegedly assaulted two boys in Hengrove Park.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said the force was doing "all it could" to protect the identities of the victims, and would not release details of their ages.
The three juvenile suspects were released on police bail pending further inquiries, the police said.
The alleged assault comes after the torture of two children by two brothers, aged 10 and 11, in Edlington, near Doncaster.
The boys battered their nine and 11-year-old victims with bricks and forced them to sexually abuse each other.
