Boy in court over assault
A teenage boy has appeared in court charged with assaulting another boy and intending to robbing him.
The 13-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested on October 18 after he allegedly attempted to rob a 14-year-old boy in Page Road, Staple Hill.
A second boy arrested in connection with the incident was released without charge.
The 13-year-old appeared at North Avon Magistrates' Court on October 20, where he also faced a charge of possessing an offensive weapon.
He was remanded in custody, and will reappear at the same court for a hearing today.
