Boy arrested after Halloween firework incident in Patchway
A TEENAGER has been arrested in relation to a Halloween incident in which a Patchway couple and their two-year-old daughter were injured by a firework.
The Post revealed last week that Chris Lewis, 34, his girlfriend Danielle Gurr, 30, and their daughter Adelaide were hurt when the banger was thrown into Parade Stores in Coniston Road. A racial insult, believed to have been directed at the convenience store's Sri Lankan owners, was shouted.

Police said yesterday that a 16-year-old boy from Patchway had been arrested on suspicion of assault and a racially aggravated public order offence.
He was later released on police bail, with conditions not to go to The Parade, pending a decision on what action to take from the Crown Prosecution Service.
