Winterbourne United manager Stewart Jones was expecting Saturday's home 8-0 victory over Cirencester United in Division One West of the Hellenic League to be his last.

But Jones will now manage the club for next Saturday's home game against Clanfield after the starting date for his new job in Toulouse was put back a week.

Jack Smythe hit five goals against Cirencester, while James Mainstone, Scott Cameron and Paul McCarthy were also on target.

Tytherington Rocks stretched their unbeaten run to nine games after taking a point from a 1-1 home draw against Lydney Town.

James Hick gave Rocks the lead in the 12th minute, with Mark Cave equalising from the penalty spot on 75 minutes.

Dean Griffiths hit the only goal as Almondsbury Town maintained third spot in the Premier Division with a 1-0 victory at Flackwell Heath.
