A real-life Bond girl introduced a screening of the classic movie, The Spy Who Loved Me, at Clevedon's Curzon Cinema yesterday.

Caroline Munro, who plays the beautiful but deadly character Naomi in the movie, introduced the 1977 blockbuster at the Curzon, and afterwards signed books and posters.

Among Munro's many film and TV credits are major roles in the fantasy adventures The Golden Voyage of Sinbad and At The Earth's Core.

She also spent four years on the TV quiz 3-2-1.

Cinema director Gareth Negus said about 90 people enjoyed the film, with many staying behind afterwards to meet Munro.

He said: "The film went down really well, with people saying it was great to see it on the big screen again. Lots of people stayed behind afterwards to speak to Caroline. Before the film she said to nudge her if she dozed off, as she's seen the film so many times. But luckily we didn't have to. She said she loved the cinema."

“I remember her from the Hammer films too. Very sexy lady.”
