UPDATE at 10am: Police confirmed they were called to the scene at 8.15am this morning by the ambulance service.
Claire Stanley, an Avon and Somerset police spokeswoman, said: "Officers are currently at the scene and are working to establish the circumstances of the death.

Police have closed off an area of Stokes Croft after the body of man was discovered.
Officials described the death as a "nasty assault", but no further details were revealed.
It is not clear, at this stage, if officers are investigating a murder.
The incident happened near the junction of Thomas Street and Dove Street South - just off Stokes Croft.
It is understood that police were called to the scene earlier this morning.
