Blame and praise for Post's role in mayor debate
THANK YOU to the Post for giving our great city its first elected mayor. It was entirely down to you as no-one had taken the trouble to explain clearly what it would mean for Bristol until yesterday.
We as a family try to do the right thing in these matters. We downloaded the circular from the council website which gave us no guidance whatsoever. We slightly made up our minds when we heard that Unison was telling people to vote No which gave us a good reason to vote Yes! But when we read the points that were raised in the Post yesterday we were able to make a confident decision.
Congratulations to the Post and to Bristol.
