People in North Somerset are being given the chance to win £100 of garden vouchers when they buy a compost bin from the council.

'Bin it to win it' is part of an initiative promoting home composting being run by North Somerset Council as part of national Compost Awareness Week (May 3-9).

For every 100 bins sold, the 100th customer will receive £100 in garden vouchers.

The offer is open until November 30 for North Somerset residents only.

The 330-litre bins are £15 and include a free kitchen caddy and delivery to the home.
