“chatty - this isnt a mutual appreciation society, or a place where people of the same mind congregate.
This is a comments board, which is open to the public to use.
So, anyone can pass comment!”

“I don't think anyone should pass comment on this accident unless you have been in the unfortunate situation to have experienced it either as the rider or the family and I have. Hicks Gate roundabout is a nightmare for bikes even at low speed. My thoughts and prayers go to the rider and the family - I know exactly what you are going through - a living nightmare.”

“"Wholetime Timewaster, Bristol"
Full marks for picking the most appropriate name on the site.
" they can look themself in the mirror with pride. I bet you can't do the same. Tom, Whitchurch "
Obviously not, eh, 'Timewaster'?”

“I've just had a close look at the image of the wrecked motorcycle, and have enlarged it, lightened it, and sharpened it, to be able to analyse it better.
The motorcycle Is quite a high-performance bike. It's had a heavy frontal impact, taking out the front wheel and badly bending the forks, so it looks like to me that it's hit the roundabout itself at some speed, or possibly a vehicle crossing in front of it on the roundabout. There's no side damage to speak of, so doesn't look like it's been hit by another vehicle.
Hope the rider, male / female, even though badly injured recovers fully, and that some of the rider's family and friends may be here soon to post some get-well-soon-mate type of messages.
(A fellow motorcyclist hence my interest in trying to find out how it happened).”

“Vic, do you just enjoy winding people up? It seems any comment I see with your name on it has the intention of getting a reaction. Have a bit of respect, someone has died.
If people want to wish their thoughts and best wishes to the family, regardless of whether they know them, then why not. My thoughts and condolences go out to anyone who knew this poor chap.”

“Why 'Wholetime Timewaster' George? Why change it from 'Wholetime kn ob' as you posted on another thread?
Both very apt descriptions of you. And do you REALLY think that 'Wholetime Firefighter' is going to be concerned about your juvenile name calling? As he/she said previously - they can look themself in the mirror with pride. I bet you can't do the same.”
