Biker badly injured in rush-hour accident in Southville
A MOTORCYCLIST suffered suspected head, neck and leg injuries in a rush-hour crash on a busy city main road.
The man, who is believed to be in his 30s, was injured when his motorbike and a car collided near the junction of Coronation Road and Alpha Road in Southville last night.

Great Western Ambulance Service was called to deal with the incident shortly after 5pm.
A paramedic first responder, followed by an ambulance crew, treated the man at the scene.

GWAS spokesman John Oliver said the injured man was conscious, breathing and alert when they arrived but had injured his leg and was also feared to have suffered possible neck and head injuries. He was taken by ambulance to the Bristol Royal Infirmary for further assessment and treatment.
The road was affected for more than 40 minutes after the incident.
