AN injury-time strike from Ben Davis steered Cinderford into the next round of the GX Cup.

The visitors trailed three times before Davis lifted the ball over keeper Paul Evans for the decider six minutes from time.

Swifts took the lead on 16 minutes when Duane Darby prodded the ball home after Leigh Downing's mazy run had ended with a shot that rattled the foot of a post.

Cinderford levelled four minutes later when Steve Crowe coolly diverted a Simon Truman cross only for the Worcestershire side to regain the lead on the stroke of half-time when Darby bundled home his second.

The game continued to flow from end to end and Neil Griffiths hauledCinderford level on 76 minutes with a looping header.

Craig Webb's goal for Swifts, from a well-worked free-kick, looked to have handed Stourport the tie until Davis hooked home an 87th-minute equaliser and then his injury-time winner in extra-time.
