Full-time: A superb display of goalkeeping from Asmir Begovic and some dogged defending earned Yeovil a valuable away point at the Galpharm Stadium.

Begovic was playing his penultimate game on loan from Portsmouth and produced his best performance so far in a Glovers shirt.

Manager Russell Slade was without his entire first choice back four because of suspension or injury but the stand-ins did him proud.

Captain Terry Skiverton was missing because of his rib injury but a scan has revealed there is no break and he could be back for Saturday's trip to Oldham.

Aaron Brown replaced him while Keiran Murtagh was called up to a five-man midfield at the expense of striker Paul Warne.

Danny Schofield was returning to his old club and he set up the first chance when his low corner found Murtagh, who shot wide of the near post.

At the other end, Robbie Williams had Begovic diving full length to his left soon after to stop his long-range drive.

Williams and Terriers striker Keigan Parker scored Blackpool's goals against Yeovil in the 2007 play-off final at Wembley.

Huddersfield's other frontman Liam Dickonson hit the side-netting on 17 minutes from Mike Flynn's cross but Yeovil were largely untroubled by their hosts in the early stages.

Brown saw a header deflected over for the Glovers and then nodded over from the resulting corner.

Begovic produced a superb save on 27 minutes when a long range drive from the home side's Gary Roberts took a deflection off Ian Craney and the big Canadian reacted smartly to tip the ball over.

Begovic dealt more comfortably with a near post header from Dickinson from a Jim Goodwin cross before Ian Craney fired over from the edge of the box.

Dickinson hit a skidding free kick just wide of the near post and Begovic pulled off another brilliant stop, parrying Andy Butler's powerful header from a Williams free kick.

And Begovic had to be alert again on 38 minutes when Gary Roberts counter-attacked down the left and struck a low drive that the Pompey man blocked with his foot.

Yeovil's Rendell was then booked for a foul on Nathan Clarke and from the free kick Dickinson once again skimmed the side-netting with a curling effort.

Brown followed Rendell into the book after bringing down Parker and Dickinson got even closer from the set-piece, glancing the post with Begovic beaten.

The game continued in the same vein after the break with Begovic holding on well to a Craney volley.

Yeovil threatened briefly when Brown knocked down a Roberts free kick and Schofield's shot was blocked but Parker was quickly keeping Begovic honest at the other end with a curler that flew straight at him.

Schofield then burst down the left wing and found Warne but the half-time substitute's shot failed to test Matt Glennon.

Jon Worthington was next to be denied by Begovic when he volleyed Goodwin's cross goalwards but Yeovil remained a threat on the break and substitute Gavin Tomlin rose highest to meet Darren Way's

cross but just got underneath the ball.

Huddersfield's Roberts was then the centre of attention as he was just denied by a last ditch Gareth Owen tackle before he volleyed over from a dangerous position.

Yeovil's best chance came when Schofield and Tomlin played a one-two on the right and Warne's near-post shot was blocked behind even though the referee gave a goal kick.

The visitors seemed to grow in confidence, Roberts making Glennon save a free kick before Warne belted one wide from 20 yards.

Begovic needed to be on his toes again to keep out Roberts as home frustration boiled over with some of the locals fighting with the stewards.
