Hereford United chief Graham Turner and coach John Trewick will be expecting the Bulls to make it three wins in a row when they take on Peterborough United at Edgar Street this afternoon.

Turner has been delighted by their performances in two exciting victories over Cheltenham Town and Leeds United.

"We are in a real dogfight to get away from relegation but when you show the character like we did against Cheltenham and Leeds it was very good," said Turner.

"We've worked hard and have a good shape to the team and over the last two games I think the players have been magnificent.

"Our goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi was exceptional too and it was a tremendous save from the penalty against Leeds – it was a very competent performance from an 18-year-old."

Turner has also been complimentary about the performances of 20-year-old Febian Brandy who has scored in both games.

"He has been lively up front and I think he is going to get better," added Turner.

Hereford's other loan players in the side, Sam Hewson, Jennison Myrie-Williams and central defender Godwin Antwi have also played their part in the battling fight backs against their opponents.

Antwi, who was drafted in on loan from Liverpool following the injuries to Dean Beckwith, Josh Gowling and Karl Broadhurst, will again line up at the heart of the defence alongside Richard Rose.

Rose, who has moved into the middle of the back four, and Antwi totally dominated Leeds experienced strikers Luciano Becchio and Lee Trundle.

Coach Trewick is confident that Hereford can make it three wins in a row after their impressive victories.

"The six points have been vital for us and now we want to make it three wins on the trot," said Trewick. "We have always believed that we have a chance of staying in the division but the two wins will give the players the extra belief that they can make a good go of it.

"Peterborough are a good side and not near the top of the table for nothing but if we can beat Oldham and Leeds in style there is no reason why we can't beat them."

Peterborough beat Hereford 2-0 earlier in the season but the Bulls will be determined to take revenge in a bid to climb out of the relegation area.

Hereford from: Gulacsi, Rose, Diagouraga, Taylor, Brandy, Guinan, Gwynne, Jackson, Antwi, Hewson, Myrie-Williams, Smith, Jones, Done, Johnson, Viega, Broadhurst.
