Bath coach Meehan targets top two
Steve Meehan is delighted Bath head into back-to-back matches against the Guinness Premiership top two after their bonus-point victory at Worcester.
Bath, who are five points behind leaders Gloucester with two games in hand, visit Kingsholm a week on Saturday and host second-placed London Irish this weekend.
"We have seven games before we return to the Heineken Cup and they are very important each and every one of them," said the Bath head coach.
"Two years ago when we played at London Irish we were asleep for the majority of that game. Last season's performance wasn't great.
"But (after the three-week break) we have hit the ground running. That was a good hit out for us. We have identified things we need to change in training. This win has reflected those changes were correct and now we have to push on.
"We must double it up and make sure we win next week and go to Gloucester and give them a real battle."
Winger Andrew Higgins sealed the 34-17 victory at Sixways by completing his first hat-trick of tries at the club where he started his professional career.
Joe Maddock crossed for his eighth Premiership try this season.
