Weston-super-Mare manager Andy Gurney has been making efforts to bring in a couple of defenders in time for tomorrow's home game against fourth placed Hayes & Yeading.

But he has had no success so far and hopes are fading of making any signings in time for the game and with so many injuries he may have to rely on the clubs youngsters to fill the gaps caused by injuries as he did for Monday's 1-0 home defeat by Havant & Waterlooville.

Definitely ruled out of tomorrow's game are Jack Compton(ankle), Darren Mullings(broken ankle), Ashan Holgate(knee ligaments) , Mark McKeever who had a n operation on his knee this week and central defender Craig Rand(groin).

Also struggling to overcome injuries are Manny Williams and Marc McGregor who both have dead legs, Michael Green(bruised foot), Alex Kite(hamstring) while manager Andy Gurney who played against Havant & Waterlooville has a back injury.

To add to Gurney's problems central defender Charlie Comyn-Platt. who was due to make his final appearance for Weston before flying out on Monday to play for Australian club ECU Joondalup. has an Achilles tendon injury which makes him very doubtful.

Weston-super-Mare (from): Northmore, Willshire, Parinello, Green, Comyn-Platt, Harris, Bartlett, Wells, Kite, Williams, McGregor, Brown, Gurney, Johnson, Dayle Grubb, Havard, Thorne, Armstrong
