Bath City have put in seven days notice of approach for Taunton Town's versatile young player Luke Cole.

Cole has been playing for Taunton since being released recently by Blue Square Premier side Stevenage.

"We're hoping we can keep Luke until the end of the season," said Taunton boss Ian Jones last night.

"I think Bath are looking at Luke long-term."

Taunton Town centre-back Owen Irish is set to join BGB Southern League rivals Truro City today.

Irish should have joined City last week but the move has twice been delayed.
