A prominent Bristol restaurant has been taken over by Warmley brewer Bath Ales.

The former Queen Square Dining Room on Queen Square has now become the Graze Bar and Chophouse.

Robin Couling, retail operations manager for Bath Ales said: "The concept for Graze is a sophisticated take on the British pub and combines cask ales, wines and spirits with a no nonsense menu of British and European cooking.

"We have created an informal yet stylish bar which will serve Bath Ales beers along with a range of continental beers, premium spirits, wines and soft drinks."

He added: "Meat cookery is central to the food theme and we are delighted to be working with Neston Park Farm in Wiltshire who will supply their superb, estate reared, organic black & tan beef along with woodland reared pork and red clover-grazed lamb."

Bath Ales produces around 3.5 million pints per year, bottles its own brands as well as bottling for brewers nationwide and has recently installed a keg filling system.
