North Somerset Sunday Cricket League round-up:

United Bristol Hospitals sparked an amazing collapse to beat Kilmersdon in Division II of the North Somerset Cricket Conference.

Chasing just 80 win, Kilmersdon reached 39-4 before losing their last six wickets for just one run.

Joe Bason, playing his first game of the season, took 4-19 and there was a sensational spell from newcomer Sam Robinson, who claimed four wickets for one run in only 12 balls to help clinch Hospitals' first win since early May.

In the Sunday Premier League, Keynsham extended their lead by a further two points despite their game at Lansdown being rained off at tea.

Their nearest rivals Midsomer Norton and Bath both lost. Norton slipped to their second defeat in succession, going down by five wickets to a Knowle side who are now unbeaten in their last four. Australian Patrick Murphy top-scored with 44 in a low-scoring game.

Chew Magna dismissed Bath for just 122, Nigel Ogbourne following up with 33 in the home side's narrow two-wicket win.

Brislington got no change from Hampset, losing by 45 runs in a high-scoring contest. Scott Costello hit an unbeaten 117 for Hampset in their total of 293-7 and, despite Matt Henley replying with 57 for Brislington, the Ironmoulders' innings petered out at 247-9.

In Division I of the Sunday Conference, Gloucestershire coach Stuart Barnes produced the best figures throughout the Conference this summer with 6-3 as Dunkerton beat Bear Flat by 92 runs.

Headley Park, who were joint leaders before the start of play, had their game against Keynsham 2nds rained off, while Clevedon made it three wins in succession with a convicing nine-wicket victory at Saltford Fairway. Having restricted the home side to 139-9, Dom Hanley hit a fine 93 not out as the Seasiders cruised to victory to close the gap at the top.

In Division III, Barrow Gurney made it four wins in succession to go top of the table after beating Harptree Village by 17 runs.

In a reduced-overs match, Bilal Shinawari hit a superb 91 for Grendel against Churchways. The Chessmen's total of 180-5 was too much for Churchways, who went down to their second defeat in a row.

Blagdon beat Failand and Portbury by four wickets in a mid-table battle at Horse Race Lane, scoring the winning runs with seven balls to spare.

Simon Robertson top-scored with 44 in the Blades' reply of 174-6 after Colin Smith had hit 62 not out for "The Grandfathers."

In Division IV, Claverham skipper Steve Raymond continued to show his bowling prowess with another three wickets – taking his tally to 13 in the last three games – as his team won their fourth game on the trot.

They beat Portway, who were skittled out for just 60, by nine wickets to go to the top of the table.

Backwell Flax Bourton picked up their third win of the summer with a seven-wicket triumph at Winford 2nds.

The home side made 94-8 from their 40 overs, with Bristol City's PA announcer David Lloyd taking a couple of wickets. In reply, Adam Watts' 37 helped ensure the points for the visitors.
