Banksy 'NOLA' mural expected to fetch up to £80,000 at auction
A piece of work created by Banksy is expected to fetch up to £80,000 at auction.
The image entitled NOLA depicts a young girl sheltering from red rain under an umbrella and is one of more than a dozen murals that Banksy sprayed onto buildings around the city of New Orleans in September 2008.
The Bristol graffiti artist did it to commemorate the third anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.
The work is being sold by Bonhams on April 13. The sale also includes another famous Banksy image, Balloon Girl, which has an estimate of £30,000 to £50,000.

Having been banned in excess of 40 times in 6 months without explanation apart from "you were banned before so you are banned again", I think I hit martyrdom a long time ago. I've given up skirting around the subject as it doesn't matter how delicate I am with my posts, it seems I can get banned for no good reason.
While I am fully aware that others may not agree with my posts, and also that I spend far too much time commenting on this website, I think that is my business.

“I noticed recently that the Banksy at the bottom of Park Street, with the man hanging out of the window is still covered in blue paint splodges where some brain dead muppet decided it would be a good idea to vandalise it. I know Bristol is reknown for being slow to sort things out, but can't this great piece of artwork be touched up? or even covered in Perspex to stop some other moron doing the same!!”
