IT IS clear that Bristol City Council has not taken any notice of all the meetings and efforts of the people to stop them from using green spaces, playing field, allotments or pulling down buildings that must be left, and used by alteration rather than demolition. It is so stupid to use school playing fields to build homes. There is no point whatsoever in filling every available space with homes when there is nothing to back them up and there is a question of all the gas, electric, water, needed for them.

It is clear that it would be far more sensible to use buildings that are already there and change their use and leave greenfield sites alone.

Developers should be banned from using the above greenfield sites and forced to use what is there. But of course it is easier to use a nice green field and bring the village, hamlets, towns, cities closer together and create a country that is one mass of buildings from coast to coast.

It truly should be made illegal to use greenfield, farmers fields or pull down listed buildings.
