Ballet dancer running for two
A BALLET dancer who is six-and-a-half months pregnant is preparing to take part in the Cancer Research UK Race for Life.
Sian Wade will be part of a seven-strong team from a ballet company entering the race tomorrow.

The team will take part in the 5km event dressed in a ballet skirt, tights and trainers. As the founder and artistic director of semi-professional ballet company Ballet Bristol, Sian agreed she and her fellow members would take part wearing their dancing gear.
Sian, who works at naval business Thales UK in Bristol, said: "One of the aims of Ballet Bristol is to raise awareness of ballet for everyone, while also supporting worthy causes in the greater Bristol area. We perform at community centres, hospitals and residential homes. Cancer Research UK is a wonderful charity and we are delighted to be supporting it.
"I will be walking and taking my time, the aim is to finish at my own pace – though I expect some of the girls might be going a little faster than me.
"Wearing trainers instead of ballet shoes will be a bit different, but if it raises more money, it will be worth it."
