Youngsters at the Florence Brown Community School in Knowle have been treated to a display of Russian ballet.

The group of nine to 12-year-olds watched as prima ballerina Chika Temma, 37, and her husband, principal dancer Yuri Demakov, 43, performed pirouettes and jumps as part of the school's European languages day yesterday.

The school, for children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties, had a range of language-based activities planned including a French-style breakfast.
