Balcony tragedy mum Natasha Hogan gives birth to boy
A Bristol woman whose six-year-old son died in a fall from a hotel balcony in Crete with his father and sister three years ago has had a baby boy.
Natasha Visser, a nurse who used to live in Bradley Stoke, gave birth to 7lb Ruben a week ago in Australia, where she now lives.
But for Mrs Visser the joy was tinged with sadness that her newborn son would never know his big brother.
Earlier this year she said: "Liam should be here to welcome his new brother or sister. He should be part of this new family. We are not complete without him."
The tragedy involving the family from Bristol made headlines around the world in August 2006. John Hogan plunged 50ft from the balcony with his son Liam and daughter Mia, then two, after a row with Natasha, then his wife. He and Mia survived but Liam was fatally injured.
Hogan was cleared by a Greek court in January 2008 of murder on the grounds that he was temporarily insane.
Natasha, 36, divorced Hogan and emigrated to Australia with her new husband Richard and her daughter.
A second inquest into Liam's death is to take place next month after a first in which Avon coroner Paul Forrest recorded a verdict of "unlawful killing", was deemed legally flawed by High Court judges.

“I love 'Debbies'. They always put out for a bag of chips or a wkd blue!
I am a dad and I cant imagine what the bloke was going through to do this but I recognise their was a history of suicide in the family. No excuse but then mental problems and fragility are often shunned as being a nutter. Your bain is only another part of your body. If your liver went a bit funny no one would call you a nutter!
Debbie, give me your email and phone number please. I have £14 left this month and will splash the lot on you for a nice night out xxxxx”

“debbiewadewade33@googlemail.com, fishponds .... I can feel sorry for whom ever I choose. He has to live with himself for the rest of his life. I don't think he should be allowed near Mia, or Natasha, but I DO feel sorry for him. So don't tell me who I can or cannot feel sorry for!”
