Return: BBC Radio Bristol DJs Richard Pitt and Gary Smith
Gary Smith and Richard Pitt, who host the show, held talks with BBC bosses after the programme was suspended when "strong language" was broadcast on February 14.
The pair say they are delighted they will be allowed to continue broadcasting from 1am on April 5.
Mr Smith said: "We're looking forward to doing the show again and continuing to be a part of the BBC's commitment to the local music scene and new music generally."
Mr Pitt said: "It was a shame that we had to be off for a while, but we understand that the BBC takes its programmes and responsibility seriously.
"I'm just looking forward to getting back to playing some great music and featuring artists who are unlikely to be given a chance anywhere else."
BBC Radio Bristol managing editor Tim Pemberton said: "We are really pleased with the return of BBC Radio Bristol Introducing.
"We needed to clarify the basis on which it was broadcast, but it has always been a programme that we are proud of, as it underlines the commitment that the station has shown to new music and emerging artists from Bristol and the wider West Country area.
"I am sure that, having had a brief pause, it will return with new vigour and enjoy an even wider audience."
The duration of the Introducing show is yet to be confirmed, but it is likely to run at the longer duration of three hours and will be repeated the following night.
The BBC has not disclosed details of the offending lyrics that prompted the suspension of the programme.
A campaign calling for the presenters to be reinstated, set up on social networking website Facebook, attracted more than 500 supporters.
