BAWA Athletico staged a remarkable comeback to reach the second round of the Gilbert Pullin Memorial Cup.

Trailing 3-0 to Breakaways after 27 minutes, BAWA appeared to be heading out of the competition at the first hurdle.

But Matt Buxton scored to spark a recovery and further goals from Ryan Glennon (2) and James Clark proved sufficient to turn the tables.

Father and son Andy and Ryan Perrett were on target as City South Farm drew 3-3 with Shadwell Rovers, only to lose the subsequent penalty shootout 6-5. Sam Adams (2) and Dave Cox netted for Shadwell.
