Awayday win over Bendix lifts Seymour into top spot
SEYMOUR Reserves moved to the top of Division I with a 3-0 away victory over Bendix thanks to goals from Ben Lee, Bruce Clothier and Joe Spearey.
In Division IV, St George Rangers continued their fine form with a 6-3 victory over visitors Frampton Athletic Reserves.
Goals from David Langridge (2), Mark Fey (2), John Smith and Tom Quintin ensured Rangers remained joint top alongside Longwell Green Sports B, who won 4-1 at Fry's Club B.
An Ashley Wright hat-trick was not enough for Hillfields Old Boys Reserves as they went down 4-3 away to Horfield United.
Made For Ever Reserves swept aside Oldland Abbotts A, goals from Rob Warren (2), Mitch Hodge (2), Lee Smith and Lee Summerhill clinching a 6-4 away win. Tom Hutton (2) Ben Shaw and Ben Daniels netted for Oldland.
Joint Division V leaders Roman Glass St George B won 5-2 at home win against St Nicholas thanks to goals from James Haines (2), Mike Kennedy, Lee McNeil and Dan McCarthy.
Soundwell Victoria remained level on points with Roman Glass after beating visitors South Bristol Central A 5-1. Chris King scored twice, while Matt Steadman, Ryan Price and an own goal completed the Soundwell tally.
Wick A lost ground after being held to a 3-3 home draw by Pucklechurch Sports A, but Coalpit Heath Reserves recorded a 2-0 win at lowly Greyfriars Athletic A.
Fifty-year-old Tony Harper was the toast of Hartcliffe A after scoring in their 6-4 home win over Brimsham Green Reserves.
Harper was joined on the scoresheet by hat-trick man Luke Chapman and Danny Conn (2).
Division VI pacesetters Patchway North End extended their lead at the top of the table with a 6-1 win at Oldland Abbotts B. Bob Page led the way with a hat-trick and was joined on the scoresheet by Declan Colton, Sam Scanlon and Chris Hewitt.
Hallen B went down 2-1 at Stockwood Wanderers Reserves with Gary Bricker and Ben Rew scoring for the home side and Liam Greening replying for Hallen.
Seymour United and Crosscourt United Reserves played out an exciting 3-3 draw with Wayne Hopkins grabbing a late equaliser for Seymour.
There was another 3-3 draw between Brislington Cricketers Reserves and visitors St Pancras Reserves.
