Award-winning string quartet play town hall
ONE of the UK's leading young string quartets is to perform in Chipping Sodbury.
Members of the Piatti String Quartet are all past and current award-winning students from the Royal College of Music and Royal Academy of Music. Pieces to be played will be Beethoven's String Quartet Op 132 in A minor and Schubert's String Quartet No 14 in D minor, Death and the Maiden D 810.
On first violin is Charlotte Scott, who began playing aged seven and has won a host of awards and scholarships for her talent.
The quartet performs at Chipping Sodbury Town Hall at 7.30pm on Tuesday, May 8. Tickets are £12 for adults and free for school-age children on the door.
