Avon Athletic A Under-13s completed a historic treble as they clinched the Avon Youth League Division One title for the third successive year.

Steve Hall's side won the GFA Cup with a 4-0 win over Henbury, thanks to goals from Jamie Matthews, Callum Evans (2) and Sam Beresford.

They then added the AY League Cup with a 4-1 victory over the same opponents, with Evans (2), Jordan Ricketts and Jamie Matthews the scorers.

And the treble was completed when an 8-0 victory over Yate United ensured they again topped the league table, losing only one game all season.

The team are the most successful Avon Athletic side in 22 years and they have also added a fourth trophy to their collection.

Facing teams from all over the country, Avon played in the SCI Festival of Football on the Isle of Wight and emerged victorious, winning 3-2 in the final as Tom Day and Evans (2) netted the goals.

Hall said: "This team has been together for a long time and they all get along very well and give me great respect.

"They are a joy to coach and amazing to watch. I love to encourage individual flair but it's about the team, not individuals and that's been key to our success."

Ashton Boys are celebrating a double after winning both the Under-16 and Under-15 Division One titles.

The Under-16 A side completed a run of six consecutive victories by beating Bitton 2-0, with goals from Cory Simpson and Aaron Read, to be crowned champions.

The Under-15s clinched their title with a 2-0 away win over second-placed Bristol Rovers Supporters Club, courtesy of strikes by Sam Thomas and Harry Hocking.

Warmley Rangers Under-12s finished a marvellous season of their own with a 100 per cent winning record, thanks to a 3-1 victory over Yate United.

The game began fairly evenly, but as the first half progressed, Warmley carved out two gilt-edged chances but failed to take them.

They were duly punished when Yate took the lead with a great shot from the edge of the box from Rankin, which left keeper Caine Edwards with no chance. Warmley stepped up the pace and were rewarded with the equaliser just before half-time, courtesy of Ollie Hubbard's raking left-foot shot from the edge of the box.

Good defending ensured little joy for the strikers at both ends until a sweet Tom Summerhill volley fired Warmley into the lead, before Jay Malpass made it 3-1 just before the end. It meant Rangers finished as champions for the third year running.
